Dear Friends,

Please find enclosed the letter from the Cuban Government representative (Gran Caribe and Marlin) which officially announces the beginning of contract negotiations for the Cayo Largo exclusive operations (Fly Fishing, Diving and Villas) on the Marina. Our proposal has been accepted by the Cuban Ministry Of Tourism.

By 2008, Avalon (via Sweet Spa S.A. that we own) will operate in exclusivity the Cayo Largo Fly Fishing operation. Bookings will be possible as of 1 April, 2008 directly through Avalon and its representatives. Please contact the booking department for more information or reservations.

We will continue to improve the existing operation, we will keep all the current guides and will be hiring some new ones. New purchases, like brand new, state of the art, super skiffs with 90 hp and a new fishing clubhouse, are on the top of our list. Also, as of 2008/9 season, we will open another live-aboard operation that will explore and fish all areas from Cayo Largo, along the archipelago until reaching the Isle of Youth marine park border.

We thank you all for supporting us during all these years. It is our great pleasure to share with you Tortuga, Halcon, La Reina and Caballones in Jardines de la Reina , Hotel Rancho and Perola on Isla de Juventud and now in Cayo Largo the land operation and shortly the new live aboard.
